I wouldn't be so harsh on the shorts thing though... It depends on the kind of shorts. And the kind of a place they're worn too. or even maybe the kind of city lol
I agree with him on the flip flops. If you're not around a body of water they shouldn't be worn. They don't complete an outfit. Frankly, they seem like a cop out. There are so many awesome shoes in the world and flip flops don't make the cut.

@nyc10 — To entertain your rhetorical question, I've been in San Diego, where everyone seems to do this.
I do agree that a man should be presentable wherever he may go and the city is a major place of presentation... but I live in Texas where the weather is a constant 100+ daily. Shorts and flip-flops are a way of dealing with it and sometimes a sort of surviving mechanism if you will. I like to be fashionable, but sweat stains will ruin any ensemble.
P.S. Do you remember when you used to update this thing regularly? It was a good time! lol
