Fascinated with traditional suspenders this season, I recently added buttons inside the waistband of some H&M trousers. Further research on the subject revealed that suspenders were originally worn on buttons attached to the outside of the waistband. Careful to choose brown buttons that match my leather suspenders, I altered another pair of trousers and re-created the outfit with a linen western shirt. *Photos by Sarah Conrique

I like your posts that are like this one because they show how adventurousness in fashion pays off. I kind of want to see these suspenders with a third vertical line (skinny tie). And what's with this trend I keep seeing with sloppy work boots? My meager supply of dress shoes and Demi boots are sloppy enough. Do I really need to go out with my fucked up work boots now?

May I just say that I think those curls that fell on your forehead in the last picture are just perfect? It's kind of funny how I was goign through these pictures and I had other things to say but then I got really distracted by teh curls and forgot what my other thoughts were haha I think I migth be a little fascinated with curls because my hair doesn't really have them :)
Anyways, I really like your shirt and I like the idea of suspenders worn on buttons attached on the outside of the waistband!
