Think 'Classic'

1980s nostalgia overran everything last year: music, graphics, fashion and even politics. The '80s' influence carried over into 2010, but for me that ship sailed, slowed to an eerie pace and capsized mid-trip. As a result I've been overhauling my graphic design work as well as my wardrobe, favoring classic concepts over fluorescent trends.

That is not to say I'm hastily disregarding anything with the mark of the '80s. My acid wash denim jacket (pictured below) just plain fits well, so it gets a pass. This weekend I had fun wearing it as part of an urban-Western nerd look. *Photos by Sarah Conrique

Although I love cheesy 80s music, I don't think I've ever dressed in the 80s style... I think I'm probably traumatized by the side ponytails and pedal pushers my mum made me don when I was a toddler! However, I think the acid wash jacket looks great on you and the shape of the jeans updates the look, I think.

Hope you had a great thanksgiving weekend :)

I love the look you're rock here, especially the jacket. The jeans are just a tab bit too tight for my taste but look awesome on you.

By the way, I think the song goes well with the post too.

I would go for a little bigger jacket, but the rest is great! :).

That's a great look, and especially with the shirt tucked in.

Is it weird that I wish you were a girl? You put everything together so interestingly. There needs to be a female version.
