Publicity stunt or not, the Go Forth campaign from Levi Strauss & Co. brilliantly captures the zeitgeist of an America that faces hard economic times and still lives in the long shadow of Hurricane Katrina. The surprisingly poignant ad below is part of a larger project in which Levi's invested in the community center, public library, and urban farm of Braddock, Pennsylvania. If only political campaigns were this well crafted.

Tonia — I agree. It's nice to see a legacy brand use their heritage to their own advantage. All to often, storied brands try to refresh everything and just end up following trends.
